Ashley Ann Briggs was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on October 9, 2017, at 1:27 p.m. She was arrested by the Forney Police Department on a charge of assault of a family or house member, impeding breath or circulation. Bond is set at $10,000. Briggs is described as a white female, date of birth August 28, 1990, with blue eyes and blonde hair, standing 5’ tall and weighing 118 pounds.
Briggs was arrested by Forney Police Department on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at 11:35 pm, following a report of a dispute between ex-spouses in the parking lot of Impact Fitness in Forney. She was reportedly at a bar (was Fat Dawgs, then Brooklyn's for a minute, now The Icehouse) which shares the same parking lot when her ex-husband arrived to obtain property which was to be turned over to him.
No previous criminal history was found for Briggs other than speeding ticket charges in both Kaufman County and Dallas County.
