Devon Samuel McCollum arrested by Forney Police Department

Devon Samuel McCollumDevon Samuel McCollum was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on September 17, 2017, at 12:46 p.m.  He was arrested by the Forney Police Department on a charges of: evading arrest or detention, bond set at $2000 and failure to identify as a fugitive intentionally giving false information, bond set at $2000. McCollom also had warrants for additional charges out of Kaufman County including theft from person, bond set at $6000 and assault causing bodily injury, bond set at $3000. McCollum is described as a black male, date of birth January 5, 1999, with brown eyes and black hair, standing 5’ 9” tall and weighing 130 pounds. McCollum was arrested Friday, September 16, 2017, at 9:05 pm, in the Forney High School parking lot and could clearly be heard misspelling his own last name. Once he knew he was properly identified by Forney PD, he took off running. A Forney PD officer was able to take him into custody following a brief foot pursuit and add the additional charges to his already outstanding charges which had active warrants.
