Richard Lynn Kirkland arrested by Forney Police Department

Richard Lynn Kirkland was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on November 20, 2015, at 11:25 p.m. He was arrested by the Forney Police Department on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Bond is set at $50,000. Kirkland is described as a white male, date of birth June 13, 1964, with hazel eyes and gray hair, standing 5’ 6” tall and weighing 130 pounds. Kirkland was arrested following a report of a gunshot at 7-11 on Wednesday night, November 18, 2015. No one was hit by the shot. Kirkland was not detained at the scene but was subsequently arrested following an investigation. At the time of the incident, Kirkland had a valid concealed handgun carry permit. Kirkland has no prior criminal history in Kaufman County.
