James Brent Morris arrested by Kaufman County Sheriff's Department

James Brent Morris was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on September 24, 2015, at 2:43 p.m. He was arrested by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department on a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14. Bond is set at $100,000. Morris is described as a white male, date of birth November 8, 1971, with brown eyes and black hair, standing 6’ 1” tall and weighing 235 pounds. In 2006, Morris was charged in Kaufman County with assault causing bodily injury family violence. That case was dismissed in 2007. Morris also has previous convictions in 1990 for criminal trespass and attempted burglary of a habitation.
