John Arthur Sidle II arrested by Terrell Police Department

John Arthur Sidle IIJohn Arthur Sidle II was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on June 2, 2015, at 8:15 p.m. He was arrested by the Terrell Police Department and charged with: possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 in an amount of 1 gram or more but less than 4 grams, bond set at $75,000; forgery of a financial instrument, bond set at $15,000; two charges of possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 3 in an amount of less than 28 grams, bond set at $5000 on each charge. Sidle also has a hold for Garland Police Department with no bond set. Sidle is described as a white male, date of birth September 8, 1942, with brown eyes and gray hair, standing 5’ 8” tall and weighing 170 pounds. Sidle entered a plea of guilty in Kaufman County on February 24, 2014, to the offense of possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 in an amount of less than 1 gram and received a sentence of 1 year in State Jail and a fine in the amount of $500. Sidle also has a long criminal history in Dallas County. Felony convictions include conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, three convictions for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (charged in 1996, 2004, 2012), unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and burglary of a vehicle (back in1975 when it was a felony). Misdemeanor convictions include unlawful carrying of a weapon and dwi.
