Steven Lee Garn arrested by Forney Police Department

Steven Lee GarnSteven Lee Garn was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on February 16, 2015, at 4:05 p.m. He was arrested by the Forney Police Department and charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 in an amount of less than 1 gram. Bond is set at $5000. Garn is described as a white male, date of birth July 21, 1989, with brown eyes and brown hair, standing 6' 1" tall and weighing 200 pounds. Garn was arrested with Marsha Nicole Stovall following a traffic stop by Forney PD in the parking lot of 7/11 at 2:26 a.m. on February 16, 2015. Garn has previous convictions in Kaufman County for criminal mischief $50-$500 and criminal mischief $500-$1500. He was convicted of both offenses and sentenced to 1 day in jail in each case on November 18, 2013.

In Dallas County, Garn was convicted of DWI / open container on May 17, 2011, and was sentenced to 54 days in jail of which he served 8 days, was credited with 10 days already served, and was awarded 34 days good time. In 2010, he was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon which was subsequently reduced to disorderly conduct. He received 90 days deferred adjudication probation in that case on December 17, 2010.
