Janie Canida arrested by Kaufman County Sheriff's Department

Janie Canida was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on November 19, 2014, at 7:48 a.m. She was arrested by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department and charged with bond forfeiture. Bond is set at $20,000. Canida is described as a white female, date of birth August 27, 1993, with blue eyes and blonde hair, standing 5’ 4” tall and weighing 115 pounds.

Canida was charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 in an amount of less than 1 gram in Kaufman County and was on bond for that offense. The case was set and reset 4 times in August through November before a warrant was issued for her arrest on November 19, 2014, presumably for failure to appear. The original offense occurred on April 13, 2014.
