Amanda Lynn Roberts arrested by Kaufman County Sheriff's Department

anda Lynn Roberts was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on July 12, 2014, at 10:05 a.m. She was arrested and charged by Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft of property of the value of $1500 or more but less than $20,000. Bond has not been set. Roberts is described as a white female, date of birth June 2, 1982, with blue eyes and brown hair, standing 5’ 6” tall and weighing 113 pounds. Update: Roberts was subsequently charged with aggravated assault of a date, family, or house member with a weapon which was alleged to have occurred on the same date as the theft case. On April 20, 2015, Roberts entered a plea of guilty in the aggravated assault case and was sentenced to 61 days in jail and a fine in the amount of $500. The theft case was subsequently dismissed following her plea of guilty in the aggravated assault case.
