Melida Nava arrested by Forney Police Department

Melida Nava was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on June 4, 2014, on charges of accident involving serious bodily injury or death and aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. Nava was arrested and charged by Forney Police Department. Nava's bonds are set at $10,000 and $25,000. She was admitted at 7:48 p.m. Nava is described as a hispanic female, with brown eyes and black hair, standing 5' 5" tall and weighing 130 pounds. Her date of birth is June 30, 1972. Nava is charged after crashing into a bicyclist and leaving him in critical condition in Forney, and then fleeing from the scene.
